Presentation: General and sports physiotherapist in Ixelles
Mattéo Cattez is a general and sports physiotherapist in Ixelles, in Brussels’ Châtelain area. He provides general physiotherapy and sports physiotherapy for adults, from pain management to a return to physical activity. His practice combines manual therapy, active rehabilitation and personalised care.
Comprehensive care:
I support a wide range of conditions, including:
- musculoskeletal pain (back, neck, shoulders, knees and hips)
- orthopaedic injuries (sprains, fractures and post-operative rehabilitation)
- chronic conditions related to age or long-term illness
Every treatment plan is individualised: together, we define therapeutic goals that fit your pace, so you can regain confidence, mobility and quality of life.
From recreational athlete to competitor:
Passionate about sports physiotherapy, I support athletes at every stage of their journey:
- Treatment of sports injuries (tendinopathies, strains and ligament injuries)
- Recurrence prevention and targeted muscle strengthening
- Gradual return after injury or surgery
- Physical performance optimisation
As official physiotherapist for the BX Brussels football team, I draw on this field experience to support every patient, whatever their sporting level.
I continue to train regularly to stay up to date with the latest approaches in sports physiotherapy.
Support that listens to you:
I believe deeply in the importance of the therapeutic relationship. My role goes beyond treatment: I support you over time with commitment and availability, helping you return to your activities sustainably.
